Two great events in Vergennes Friday April 28: Creative Space Gallery & Northern Daughters

Creative Space Gallery & Sean Dye Studio at 214 Main Street, Vergennes, VT, presents an Open House and Wine Tasting Friday April 28, 5-8 pm to highlight the exhibit "Glass Art: Molten Color and Frozen Forms." The exhibit, on view through May 14. features work by CSG Member master glass artists, Bud Shriner, Alyssa Oxley, and Micaela Wallace. and also showcases emerging glass artists Anne Hulvey, Mary Ellen Jeffries, Gretchen King, Cherie Marshall, Lori Pietropaoli, Catherine Suiter, Diane Rippa and Christie Witters. These artists incorporate a wide array of techniques -- cutting, fusing, sand blasting, dropping, slumping, blowing -- to create unique examples of contemporary glass art.
Award winning multimedia artist Sean Dye also welcomes visitors to view new works at his Creative Space studio during the Open House.
Creative Space Gallery is a non-profit gallery for Vermont artists and artisans, exhibiting work by 35 member artists, and encouraging creativity through workshops and events. Gallery hours Wednesday through Sunday, 12-5pm and by appointment. Contact us at info@creativespacegallery.org

And Across the Street:
Northern Daughters Gallery at 221 Main Street, Vergennes presents “Suspended Moments”, a solo exhibition of new work from Cameron Schmitz. Opening reception on April 28th from 5-8pm, with cocktails by Barr Hill and cheese plate from Blue Ledge farm. “Suspended Moments” features abstract paintings with Cameron Schmitz’s dynamic brushwork, and a lush color palette that already has us feeling the excitement of spring’s unfolding.
