This Thursday at 4:30 PM in Dana Auditorium (356 College street) on the Middlebury College campus, Johanna Mirenda will give a talk on "The Myths and Controversies of Organic Agriculture." Ms. Mirenda is technical director at the Organic Materials Review Institute, and an expert in organic policy. She will focus on perceptions vs realities of organic certification as well as certain controversial topics, including pesticides and hydroponics.
