Town-Wide Natural Resources Inventory Talk

Past event
Mar 26, 2017, 3 to 4:30 PM

The Johnson Conservation Commission is working with Arrowwood Environmental on a town-wide inventory of wetlands, wildlife habitat, and natural communities. Hear what is happening so far in the inventory on Sunday, March 26th at 3 PM at the Johnson Public Library. Jeff Parsons, a consultant with Arrowwood Environmental will share some of the findings to date.
To assist in collecting local knowledge of wildlife activity and important habitat areas in the Town, a mapping application has been developed to gather local knowledge of wildlife, wildlife habitats, unique natural communities and other natural resources of note. You are invited to visit the map tool at www.arrowwoodvt.com/Johnson to browse sightings by others, and contribute your own. Letting Arrowwood know where you've seen wildlife crossing our roads, special habitat areas you've stumbled upon or just interesting observations out your back window will help inform the town-wide Natural Resource Inventory now underway.
Jeff Parson's talk is the final March Gladness program hosted by the Johnson Conservation Commission at 3 PM on Sunday.
