The Art of Natural Breathing
Introductory Class with Dunja Carlson-Moeller, PhD,Thursday, March 23rd, 6:30-8:00 pm
Kellogg Hubbard Library - Hayes Room
The Art of Natural Breathing is a powerful form of breath work and a catalyst for transformation. This class will introduce you to this physical and emotional clearing process that is needed as we come out of hibernation into early spring. Every time we breathe, the primitive limbic part of our brain as well as the neo-cortex will form new connective patterns. This allows us to release what does not serve us any longer. Strengthening these integrative aspects of our brains also gives our consciousness and soul a chance to be fully expressed through our physicality, creating more energy and awareness. Our inhales and exhales mirror how we receive and let go in life. Changing our breaths and letting go of debilitating breath patterns literally changes the way we live our lives. Learn how to breathe consciously, releasing lifetimes of thought patterns and misguided belief systems, replacing them with brilliance, health and the ability to connect to our true inner source.
Dunja Carlson-Moeller, PhD. is a cultural anthropologist with extensive research and clinical training in medical anthropology, a field concerned with cross-cultural comparisons of medical systems and healing processes.
