Please join us at the Maple Corner Community Center for this fun evening in support of future agricultural production at the Armstrong Farm in East Calais.

The Armstrong Farm reflects the rich agricultural heritage of Calais. Owner Ella Armstrong grew up on the farm, located on Pekin Brook Road near Route 14. For 50 years the farm supported a dairy operation; now Ella has decided to sell the 129 acres. After hearing it would be sold, neighbors connected with Ella and the Vermont Land Trust to try to secure the future of the farm. We are making great progress! In addition to making the land available to farmers for generations to come, the plan includes public access to Pekin Brook for fishing and recreation.

Join us for food, conversation with neighbors and entertainment. The auction will include in-season, locally produced food items such as maple syrup, berries, apple cider and flowers. More details to come. Save the date: Friday March 31 at 6:00.
