7pm, April 7th --SHHS proudly Presents “Metal Detecting in South Hero.”

Please join us at the Folsom School on South Street at 7pm for a very interesting program by John Quackenbush and Robin Way who will share their love of metal detecting as well as some of the very old coins they have found either along Route 2 in South Hero or near the Masonic Hall on South Street. One coin even dates back to the Revolutionary War!

The South Hero Historical Society was started in 2012 and our meetings are open to everyone of every age. Our goal is to get people together who love talking about South Hero history. We are very fortunate to have friends and neighbors who volunteer to share their knowledge with us. We welcome comments and questions from the audience, too.
