Once again there will be a contra dance at the Town Hall in Huntington Center on the 4 th Saturday in March, featuring a fine family band from Cornwall , Honey in the Hive with Lausanne Allen calling. Honey in the Hive features beekeeper Andrew Munkres on banjo and his wife Kristin Bolton on bass, and their talented daughter Romy on fiddle and son Ben on piano. All dances are preceded by a walk-through and our welcoming community knows how to make even first time dancers feel right at home. If you want to come out just to enjoy the band and to watch the dancers swing & smile, we have plenty of seats on the sidelines for that too. Admission is by a sliding scale donation of $5-10 and no-one will be turned away.
