On Thursday March 16th from 6:00pm - 8:00 pm in the school cafeteria, Harwood Union High School will be hosting an international dinner; for the benefit of the students that will be traveling to Italy and Greece this April 12-25, 2017.
The event will feature an array of delicious international dishes, as well as live music, performed by Vermont folk band,
Red Barn Hayloft.
The dinner will also include a silent auction and a raffle, with prizes such as a beautiful handmade quilt, gift cards to local businesses, and more. This event is open to the public and the cost is $12- per person at the door.
The trip which is open to both Latin and Three Democracies students, gives the travelers a chance to immerse themselves in the historical events and places they have learned about in their classes at Harwood. These landmarks include, the Pantheon in Florence, the Roman Colosseum and Ancient Olympia in Athens.
The dinner will provide money for the trip that is necessary in order to make it all possible.
We invite everyone in the community who would like to support the trip to come and enjoy delicious food, fantastic entertainment, and great prizes. Again, it will be held at Harwood Union High School on March 16th from 6pm to 8pm. Attendance costs $12- per person and $10- for family members of the travelers.
