Free Training: Promoting Wildlife in Your Woodlands

Past event
Jun 2 to 4, 2017

I just received this Announcement from Vermont Coverts: Woodland for Wildlife. They are a non-profit whose mission is "to enlist Vermont landowners in a long term commitment to maintain and enhance diverse wildlife habitat and healthy ecosystems." I went through their 3-day landowner training in 2002, and it really changed the way I look at my woods and work to improve wildlife habitat. They have trained hundreds of Vermonters. Every one of them I've met has felt the the program was extremely worthwhile.

I'm happy to answer any questions about the program. There are a number of others from Monkton and surrounding towns who have been through the program and would probably be happy to talk to you about it.
