A fascinating and delicious encounter with the culture and cuisine of the "Cochini" Jews who flourished in Kerala, South India for perhaps as long as 2000 years. We will partake of an artful and tasty feast lovingly researched and prepared by the talented Helen Labun Jordan of Hel's Kitchen. Retired Professor Barbara Johnson will enthrall us with sights and sounds of the Cochini culture with a meticulously compiled presentation of photos, video, music, and anecdotes collected during her 40-year relationship with the community, both in India and in their new homes in Israel.
