This Saturday, February 18, at the Richmond Congregational Church from 8am-4pm we are hosting a Drop/Swap&Donate. Drop off gently used unwanted clothing items and "swap" them for new to you items. Get a whole new wardrobe in exchange for your old one! And make a donation to support the Water Protectors at Standing Rock. Come by before or after the Book Sale right across the street at Richmond Free Library! We'll have coffee and tea to keep you warm while you swap and donate.

A couple of months ago I put a post out seeking donation items such as warm gear and food to fill a vehicle that was headed to Standing Rock. I got such an incredible response that not everything fit! Clothing donations are not being accepted there anymore, so let's share with our local community! I will have the remaining items that did not make it to Standing Rock and will be accepting other gently used clothing items and warm gear (please no ripped/holed/majorly stained items) from 8am - 2pm. We'll be there to accept donations and for folks to swap until 4pm.
Items remaining at the end of the day will be donated to The Refugee Resettlement Program, COTS and GoodWill.
