The Art House is excited to announce the second film of the "Let's Talk" monthly film series: "Black America Since MLK: And Still I Rise"! The film will be shown at 6:30pm Thursday, February 16th at the Sterling College Common House. Each month this documentary film series focuses on different socially relevant themes and is shown in collaboration with organizations such as: Sterling College, Heartbeet Lifesharing, and The Craftsbury Outdoor Center. Films are presented in partnership with Vermont PBS. Facilitated round table conversations and refreshments will follow the film screening.

About the film: "PBS's Black America Since MLK: And Still I Rise embarks on a journey through the last fifty years of African American history. Joined by leading scholars, celebrities, and a dynamics cast of people who shaped these years, Henry Louis Gates Jr. travels from the victories of the civil rights movement up to today, asking profound questions about the state of black America and our nation as a whole."
