Day 8, Friday February 3rd offers much to choose from, stop in and visit them all!

Craft Beer Tasting, 5pm-6pm, Craft Beer Cellar
Not much goes as well with Winterfest as beer! Visit our friends at the Craft Beer Cellar on Elm St. to sample a free selection of craft beers from local distributor VT Beer Shepherd.
Ages 21+ only. While supplies last.

Chess Tournament, 6pm-8pm, Recreation Building, Anderson Park
Compete in the game of kings!
Child, teen and adult divisions play in several rounds for prizes and bragging rights.
$5 registration fee.

Winterfest is for Lovers, 7:00pm-9:00pm, Green Mountain Coffee Cafe
Please join us in celebrating Waterbury Winterfest and St. Valentine’s Day with our FIRST annual Winterfest is for Lovers Show! Take the time to stock up on everything you need to make the loved ones in your life very happy!! At this event, we will showcase Valentine’s Day gifts and accessories from Stowe Street Emporium and Ruelle Boutique; modeled by our very “sweet” local volunteers. This not-to-be missed special event will also feature floral arrangements by Proud Flower and a variety of chocolates by Lake Champlain & Quayl’s Chocolates. Vine to Wine Concierge will be promoting a 20% Valentine special. Hender’s Bake Shop and Café will provide sample valentine treats. Our local & wonderful 6-piece JAZZ band, Z-jaz, will set the mood. Cork will provide a cash bar and courtesy of SunCommon light appetizers will be provided. Please RSVP online at www.waterburywinterfest.com.

Contra Dance, 6:30pm, Grange Hall Cultural Center
Folk dancing for the whole family! All ages, all abilities and experience levels are invited to join in! Contra Dancing is a little like square dancing and a whole lot of fun! Bring clean, indoor soft-soled shoes. Suggested donation of $10/adult, $5/child at the door of this alcohol-free event. Music starts at 7pm. Feel free to bring a dish for all to share and plates/utensils for your own group.

Sled Hockey, 8pm-10pm, Ice Center
Come laugh with our "Waterbury All Stars", former varsity hockey heroes as they are again humbled by the paraplegic Vermont Sled Cats in a rousing exhibition game of sled hockey.
