How Will Climate Change Affect Vermont?

A Presentation by Dr. Alan Betts-Atmospheric Researcher

Dr. Alan Betts of Atmospheric Research in Pittsford is a leading climate researcher, columnist, and commentator. He is a frequent speaker on climate change issues around the state and has helped draft climate adaptation plans for Vermont. “Climate change is one of the many great challenges humanity faces this century,” shares Betts.

Please join Dr. Betts on Monday evening, January 23, 2017 at 6:30 at the Wallingford Auditorium (above the Town Hall) for “How Will Climate Change Affect Vermont?”

In this insightful talk, Betts maps out how global climate change is affecting Vermont and provides a review of the transformation already underway through a systems-based approach to land conservation and utilization. Refreshments will be served.
