A small ensemble of young string instrumentalists from The Perlman Music Program (PMP) will perform 40 minutes of chamber music. A brief question and answer discussion will take place following the performance with PMP founder Toby Perlman, Itzhak Perlman and the musicians.
The performance repertoire includes:
W. A. MOZART – “Allegro” from Duo in G Major, K. 423
HANDEL-HALVORSEN – Passacaglia
F. MENDELSSOHN – “Adagio non troppo – Allegro non tardante” from String Quartet in E-flat Major, Op. 12
F. SCHUBERT – “Presto” from String Quartet in D Minor “Death and the Maiden,” D. 810
