My friend Brett Hughes is playing a cozy evening of intimate (and sometimes raucous) music-- joined by Brett Lanier on pedal steel and Pat Melvin on stand-up bass-- at Lincoln Peak Vineyard on Friday, January 13 at 7:30 pm.
Guitarist, singer, and songwriter extraordinaire, Brett has been playing around Vermont (and the nation) for many moons with many fine musicians, too many to name. He is a master of the heartbroken harmony and the honky tonk throw-down, and has written some exquisite songs. And Brett is finally FINALLY making a record! Lincoln Peak Vineyard is throwing a little party-- house concert-style-- to support the project. Admission is free; contributions + album pre-sales are gratefully accepted. More information at www.lincolnpeakvineyard.com or 388-7368.
And if you can’t come to the party, you can learn more and support Brett’s project here: http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/bretthughes.
