Aikido workshop on Saturday, January 7th at Aikido of Champlain Valley

Discover the beautiful and powerful Japanese martial art of Aikido. This workshop introduces adults to a dynamic martial art that emphasizes circular movement, physical conditioning, and pinning and throwing techniques. The workshop includes a demonstration of Aikido weapons practice and a discussion of the philosophy of Aikido. Learn how aikido cultivates core power, relaxation and flexibility.
Workshop fee of $15 can be applied towards the cost of membership if you choose to join. 1-2:15pm on Saturday, January 7th.

We also offer classes for youth ages 7-12 three days a week.

It is a non-competitive martial art that emphasizes circular evasions rather than strikes or kicks. Located in Burlington, Vermont, Aikido of Champlain Valley is federal non-profit organization, and we offer scholarships for low income youth ages 7-17.
