The Lanpher Memorial Library is having an After School Book Discussion Group for 9-12 year old students. Once each month, January - April, from 3:15-4:15, we will meet at the Library in front of the fireplace with snacks to discuss a different book.
Books are available now to borrow for the first discussion that takes place on Thursday, January 19th when we will discuss: "Love That Dog", by Sharon Creech.
If needed, and with parent permission, Amy Olsen will meet students at HPES after school and walk with them to the Lanpher Library. Other participants can meet us at the Library.
The schedule and titles are:
Thursday, January 19th, "Love That Dog", by Sharon Creech
Thursday, February 23rd, "Nim's Island", by Wendy Orr
Thursday, March 23rd, "The Strange Case of the Origami Yoda", by Tom Angelberger
Thursday, April 27th, "The Great Gilly Hopkins", by Katherine Paterson

Students do not need to attend all 4 book discussions.
Students who participate must be picked up by 4:30 pm. on the day of the discussion.
Please call Amy Olsen with any questions, or to sign your child up for the discussion: 802-888-4628
