BRATTLEBORO - African Dance Vermont presents a drum and a dance class on Wednesday December 14th at 118 Elliot in Brattleboro. There will also be a class on Wednesday, Dec. 21st with special guest teacher Nogaye Ngom visiting from Senegal at The Stone Church, 210 Main Street from 7:00 to 8:30.
On December 14th the drum class with Raoul Ombang is from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and the cost is $10. There are drums available for those who need one. The dance class with Abdou Sarr is from 7:30 to 9 p.m. and the cost is on a sliding scale from $12 to 15. Abdou is bringing a drummer who along with Derrik Jordan will accompany on drums for the dance class. Bring a water bottle and wear clothes that you can move in. All levels are welcome.
