Join local pianist Carey Bennett for two holiday musical events at Home Plate restaurant in Waitsfield. On Tuesday, Dec. 13 in the bar, “Christmas Carey-oke” will take place from 7-9 pm. Guests can listen to carols and favorite tunes, or sing along.
On Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 6 pm, local children and young adults will take the stage in the dining room with Carey for the first annual Kids Christmas Cabaret. Performers include Jacob Madden, Ella and Abby Holter, and Kelly and Caitlin Shaw, among others. Guests can enjoy dinner and a show for a two-for one entree price.
Dining discounts for dinner entrees will take place on Mondays and Tuesdays, Dec. 12, 13, 19 and 20. Two-for-one breakfast entrees will be available on Wednesdays & Thursdays, Dec. 14, 15, 21, and 22. Another special event, a local beer tasting, is being planned for Wednesday, Dec. 28.
