The Incredible Lives of Seabirds - Dec. 15 Cabot Library

Past event
Dec 15, 2016, 7 PM

Ranging from the comical puffin to the majestic albatross, seabirds utilize all of the seas and oceans that cover 70 percent of the earth’s surface. They are poorly understood and many are threatened with extinction. Using examples from their own experiences around the world, Julia Gulka and Edward Jenkins, currently graduate students at the University of Manitoba, will provide an overview of these little known birds, their fascinating lives, and the work being done to safeguard their future. Presented as part of the Cabot Conservation Committee’s Conservation Speaker Series. Cabot Library, Dec. 15, 7 pm.
