Performances will begin at 7 pm in the basement of the Peacham Library. An open mic session will follow the main act. All performances are free, although a $5 donation is encouraged to support the performers.

Jim Karns on January 11

Award winning songwriter Jim Karns has received Nashville songwriting group Song Town's Americana/ Bluegrass Song of the Year for his song "Poor Town.".   He is honored  to have shared the stage with members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, .38 Special, Molly Hatchet, and the Rossington Collins Band and has had the pleasure of opening for Charlie Daniels during his tour stop in Jacksonville.  In addition to playing writers rounds in Nashville Jim is concentrating on songwriting and has publishing contracts with Sherrill Blackman and Matt Lindsey, two of Nashville's top independent music publishers.
