Nov 13, 2016, 3 to 6 PM

The great Scottish weaver and balladeer Norman Kennedy returns to Cabot alongside uillean pipe master and maker Benedict Koehler, accordionist and harper Hilari Farrington and sensation Scottish singer and harpist Dominique Dodge for an autumn afternoon of peerless Celtic artistry. This will be a rare stage appearance for Benedict and Hilari and chance for audiences to experience the "old-style" singing and brilliant wit of Norman Kennedy, National Heritage Fellow and founder of the Marshfield School of Weaving. Dominique Dodge will come as a revelation to first-time hearers; she is a singer of extraordinary sensitivity and a virtuoso harpist. Dominique is a former Fulbright Scholar and graduate of the University of Limerick, from which she earned an MA in Irish Music Performance in 2012. She holds a BA Honors in Scottish Music from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow. The stars converge on the CABOT TOWN HALL (WILLEY BUILDING), 3084 MAIN STREET IN CABOT on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 13 AT 3:00 PM. Presented by CABOT ARTS. ADMISSION BY DONATION AT THE DOOR.
