Terrarium Design - Closed Ecosystem Tropicals

Spend a few relaxing hours with master terrarium designer Susan Goldstein, founder of local startup Muddy Toes Terrariums, as she shares secrets of how she plans, sources and constructs her leafy creations, then complete your apprenticeship by making your own closed ecosystem tropical terrarium under her watchful eye. Learn soil layering techniques to facilitate moisture replenishment without watering. All materials (tropical varieties, sealable glass containers, soils, locally harvested moss, Iberville shale and other composition materials) included. No previous experience required.

Presented by Art on Main and Susan Goldstein of Muddy Toes Terrariums, Sat. March 24, 12-3. Held at ARTSight Studios, 6 South Street, Bristol. Fee $50 plus $25 materials fee which includes plants and a hand-blown glass container.
