The Vermont Zen Center is a Buddhist community, founded to provide a warm and inviting place for the study and practice of Zen Buddhism. It was established by Roshi Sunyana Graef in 1988.

This workshop begins with the discussion of the components and essential traits of haiku encountered through close readings of traditional Japanese poems. This will be followed by time spent in the Zen Center gardens where participants can take photos and notes to inspire their writing. A period of writing and sharing of work will then ensue. Light fare provided.
