VPT is a theater company dedicated to creating work with compassion, integrity and artistry founded by Mary Bacon and Dina Janis.

Vermont Public Theater believes that a theater should serve as a "round table" for community; inviting audiences from diverse walks of life, across cultures, ages, gender identifications and economic backgrounds to participate, engage, and inspire exuberant theatrical storytelling that lifts up our shared humanity.
