Vermont Adult Learning (“VAL”) provides adults 16 years and older with the necessary skills to successfully transition to employment and post-secondary education. Our programs include Basic Skills Education, High School Completion Program, GED Preparation and Testing, English Language Learner (ELL), and College and Career Readiness.

Bachelor's Degree required with emphasis on education, English, Math, and/or related discipline. Teaching license preferred. Experience teaching adult students with learning differences and other significant barriers to mainstream educational programs also preferred. Strong technology skills required.

Applicants should have demonstrated experience supporting diverse students, including students of color, English Language Learners, LGBTQ students, and those experiencing the effects of poverty, homelessness, and single parenthood.
