Vermont Academy of Choral Music Vermont Chamber Artists

Vermont Academy of Choral Music was created as a non-profit organization in Burlington, VT by founder Dr. Jessie Pierpont. With both choirs, Vermont Chamber Artists and Vermont Girls Choir already established and very successful, she wanted to created a non-profit that directly affected the choral music field. By creating this organization the goal is to generate a new wave of inclusive choral music by inviting all people to come together in celebration of song.

Vermont Girls Choir is open to girls and young women who show exceptional talent and potential from ages 12-18. Vermont Girls Choir's goal is to provide a quality choral music education opportunity. In addition to developing musical skills, Vermont Girls Choir will help the choristers learn vital skills in communication, leadership, and confidence.

Vermont Chamber Artists are a group of 16 professional Vermont choral singers dedicated to giving back and creating authentic experiences for the community and beyond.

Vermont Chamber Artists designates a charity beneficiary for each concert. Previous concerts proceeds have been donated to organizations that have directly affected Vermont communities such as the Seven Stars Arts Center, Norris Cotton Cancer Research Center, Friends of Veterans Society, Prevent Child Abuse Vermont, and national organizations such as Be the Match Foundation and the American Cancer Society. We plan to expand our reach with the choral music that we perform and help unite people together, not just for their love for others but to exemplify voices that have not been heard.
