Green Mountain Transit (GMT) of Burlington and Tri-Valley Transit (TVT) of Middlebury are planning for TVT to become the sole provider of 116 Commuter bus services as of Tuesday, October 1st.

> GMT will stop running their shared portion of the schedule.

> TVT will begin new runs up to Burlington at 6:55am and 3:05pm. This will allow current GMT riders to keep their usual stop times at UVM Medical Center and the Burlington Downtown Transportation Center. Since the GMT portion of the route only went as far south as Hinesburg, transitioning operation to TVT equates to an expansion, with additional travel times becoming available for Middlebury, Bristol and Starksboro riders. The portion of the schedule that TVT already operates from Middlebury at 6:10am and 3:30pm will continue without changes.

Riders are invited to preview TVT's draft 116 Commuter schedule at https://www.trivalleytransit.org/116-commuter-expansion/

Questions and comments about TVT's 116 Commuter schedule may be emailed to info@trivalleytransit.org. Or call (802)388-2287 and ask for Mary-Claire.
