New Dates: GROWING RESILIENCE: BEING TRAUMA INFORMED

This powerful course takes a deep dive into understanding trauma and resilience through a somatic and intersectional perspective while focusing on creating trauma informed spaces. We cap the attendance so it's a small cohort of professionals who are integrating the information through their own businesses/practices/organizations and are then able to brainstorm and support each other in the process. This is currently our only group style professional development course.

Our other two professional development courses are 1:1 trainings (more info below) focused on integrating somatics into your specific profession through a polyvagal-informed and justice-oriented lens. As a 1:1 training, there is no pre-set timing; instead, together we'll determine a weekly time that works.
These trainings are offered by Amanda Franz- registered somatic bodyworker and therapist, conflict mediator and trauma educator.

SOMATIC FOUNDATIONS is an 8-week course with a pre-designed basic introduction to somatics, trauma and the nervous system, intersectionality and its impacts on the therapeutic dynamic, as well as profession specific application and integration of these concepts.

SOMATIC PRAXIS MENTORSHIP PROGRAM is a 10 week 1:1 training/coaching program for professionals with a working understanding/practice of somatics, yet looking for more specific education and implementation support, particularly in the realms of experiential anatomy, somatic bodywork, nervous system/polyvagal theory education, anti-racism and intersectional education, conflict navigation, and movement re-patterning. The curriculum for this program is individually created to address the needs and limitations of the student's particular profession and may involve site-visits/shadowing for further implementation support.

We also work with businesses and organizations through consultation and private trainings.
