I began my career in the culinary arts. After graduating from The Culinary Institute of America, I worked as an efficiency consultant for restaurants in Austin, Texas (Hillside Farmacy & Ah Sing Den) and Albuquerque, New Mexico (Nexus Brewery). While helping these restaurants succeed, I realized my aptitude for tracking and managing all the intricate financial components of running a business.
I went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University, where I learned about my unique passion for accounting and financial concepts. I am interested in staying up to date with the regulations, which are continually changing, as well as expanding my knowledge on perspectives from accounting and financial experts.
