Stowe Historical Society and Stowe History Museum

Our mission, to collect, preserve and share the history of Stowe VT began in 1956. Today, we are an all-volunteer non-profit organization managing a museum with changing exhibits, a research library, a vast collection of artifacts and archives, and we support and participate in other town events. The museum is open three afternoons a week and other times by appointment. We are active on FaceBook, Instagram and on our website. We hope you’ll visit us at 90 School Street, next to the Stowe Library on Tuesdays (12:00 - 3:00), Thursday (1:00 - 4:00) and Saturdays (12:00 - 3:00).
