Social Band - Burlington's lively band of singers - and the Champlain Consort - a group of early music instrumentalists - present "Deep Midwinter, Songs from Winter's Heart". The Consort uses a variety of curious and fascinating instruments. We'll be singing and playing music of the season from the medieval and Renaissance periods. $18 suggested. Join us!

With a concert series straddling either side of our national elections, Social Band presents a program that contemplates the passage of time measured in centuries rather than months, days and hours. The title of the series is a quotation from the Henry Wadsworth Longfellow poem, "A Psalm of Life": "Let us then be up and doing, with a heart for any fate."
