Sierra Hiner, Cellist

Sierra Hiner recently graduated from UVM with a BA in Global Studies and minors in Music, Italian, and Environmental Studies. Sierra started playing cello at seven years old and has been classically trained by Maureen Hynes (New York) and Emily Taubl (Vermont). Sierra was principal cellist of the UVM Symphony Orchestra as well as President of the UVM Philharmonic. At 16 years old, Sierra performed at Carnegie Hall and Jazz at Lincoln Center with the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of New York.
