I have been in the financial industry for over 30 years and personally managed clients' investment accounts for 28 years. I have served in operational, training, branch oversight and management positions during my time in the industry. My experiences led to the formation of Scribner Financial, Inc. which allows me to specialize and focus on my clients and their individual needs. Over the years, I have enjoyed working with individuals, families, business owners (large and small) and those coming into sudden wealth. I have also specialized in helping those retiring and needing guidance on managing the money they worked so long and hard to earn.
As an active manager, I try and keep my clients in the strong areas of the markets and exit the areas that are not performing well. I believe that there will always be more investment opportunities. I would rather miss an opportunity than lose money.
I recently moved my practice to Vermont. I am happily married to my lovely wife, Barbara of 26 years. Away from the business, I enjoy traveling, fishing, painting, collecting art, photography and homebrewing.
