I am taking knives and scissors for drop-off sharpening at 89 Barre St Montpelier. Turn-around time is usually same day, or next day depending on drop-off time and quantity. Prices vary depending on dullness, type, and chips. Roughly $1.25-1.50 an inch. Minimum is $15 per order, so bring at least a couple knives. I give a discount for large batches of 8 knives or more.

Bring knives wrapped in a kitchen towel or newspaper, for safety. "Rocket Leathercraft" sign indicates you're in the right place! I sharpen on a whetstone wheel, polish on paper, and hone on leather. I also hand sharpen on a Japanese stone under special circumstances such as Japanese knives or by request. $2-$3 an inch.
