The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pilates and a commitment to helping clients achieve their fitness goals through personalized instruction. Willing to train the right person. This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of body mechanics, and the ability to motivate and inspire clients in a supportive environment.
1-10 Hours/wk; in-person; flexible shifts
- Conduct engaging and effective Pilates classes for individuals and groups, ensuring proper technique and safety
- Develop customized workout plans tailored to clients' individual needs and fitness levels
- Provide guidance on body mechanics, posture, and alignment to enhance overall performance and prevent injuries
- Maintain a clean and organized studio space, ensuring all equipment is in good condition
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages client participation and progression
- Stay updated on the latest trends in fitness, including kickboxing, yoga, cycle training, personal training, sports coaching, dance, CrossFit, and anatomy knowledge to enhance class offerings
- Collaborate with other fitness professionals to create comprehensive wellness programs
Requirements:
- Certification in Pilates instruction from an accredited organization
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and body mechanics as they relate to movement
- Previous experience in related fields such as yoga, kickboxing, cycle training, personal training, or sports coaching is preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with clients of all backgrounds
- Ability to demonstrate exercises clearly and effectively while providing constructive feedback
- A commitment to ongoing professional development in the fitness industry
- Flexibility to work various hours including evenings or weekends as needed
