Visitors are invited to the studio to see Angus and LeQuier's beautiful hand blown glass, enjoy a cup of hot mulled cider and join the artists in celebrating the holiday season and 41 years of creating glass art in their Readsboro studio. In 1983, Angus and LeQuier fired up their glass furnaces for the first time just weeks before Christmas and invited all of their neighbors to see their new studio. To celebrate the Glasswork's 41st anniversary, there is free drawing each weekend that all visitors can enter to win a Glass Snowflake ornament or a set of Glass Candy Canes.
Angus and LeQuier will have a unique collection of hand blown glass for sale, including perfume bottles and ring holders, bud vases in translucent tones, and colorful handmade glass candy cane, icicle and spiral ornaments. Also available are glass snowflake ornaments, intricately sandblast-carved in clear glass. They have two new snowflakes for 2024, including a dated version.
