So far, the Plainfield Area Community Trust (PACT) has approved $44,200 in relief funding for Plainfield residents impacted by the July 2024 flood. We are now accepting a second round of applications from households that previously received funding and are continuing to accept requests from those who have yet to apply.
We have limited funding and are only able to approve requests related to Plainfield's flood of 2024. This may include continued housing instability, such as individuals and households who are still unhoused or experiencing homelessness, or who are currently living in substandard or temporary housing. It may also include ongoing financial strain, such as individuals and households experiencing significant financial hardship due to flood-related expenses, such as home repairs, replacement of essential belongings, or lost income as a result of the flood. Additionally, we recognize the significant mental health impacts of the flood and will accept applications relating to medical costs that are flood-related.
