Join us Oct 18th 3:30-5:30 pm at Inkling's Children's Book Store in Waitsfield VT for a creative afternoon of gettin' Woogy!
In this two hour workshop I will be guiding kids to create their own Woog made from socks, stuffing, felt, buttons, needles, thread, yarn (hot) glue etc! We will brainstorm together "Woog characteristics" (spikes? teeth and more) Kid's will be introduced to light hand sewing techniques and creative ways to reuse old materials... read more ▼

Join us Oct 18th 3:30-5:30 pm at Inkling's Children's Book Store in Waitsfield VT for a creative afternoon of gettin' Woogy!
In this two hour workshop I will be guiding kids to create their own Woog made from socks, stuffing, felt, buttons, needles, thread, yarn (hot) glue etc! We will brainstorm together "Woog characteristics" (spikes? teeth and more) Kid's will be introduced to light hand sewing techniques and creative ways to reuse old materials such as socks, fabric scraps etc. They will be encouraged to let their imaginations run wild!
This "woogshop" is recommended for kids 6 yrs and older. Kids need to be able to hold and cut with scissors on their own. (Parents are welcome to accompany their child if they think they will need help with that skill.)
All material will be provided.
