Fifty years ago, in 1975, a group of intrepid ladies came together to create a thrift shop in the town of Brandon. Nifty Thrifty was established, and has been doing business in town for 50 years now! We feel we have a lot to celebrate after 50 years of serving as Brandon's first and forever favorite thrift shop. So, in our 50th Anniversary year we are planning some special events, sales, promotions, etc... so stay tuned.

We feel we have a lot to celebrate after 50 years of serving as Brandon's first and forever favorite thrift shop. Nifty Thrifty has a FaceBook page (NIFTY Thrifty Thrift SHOP), an Instagram account (niftythriftyvt) and an eBay store (charity.ebay.com Brandon Thrift Shop Inc.) and we are here, on Front Porch Forum. The shop is located at 19 Conant Square in Brandon, and we are open every day except Sunday. We have no telephone at the shop.
We should all be proud of Nifty Thrifty. It is because of your interesting and generous donations, and because of your frequent and enthusiastic shopping that Nifty Thrifty is still thriving and still able to give support to community projects, programs, events, groups and ideas.
A couple of weeks ago a woman came into the thrift shop and told us that she and her family would not have had a Christmas at all if it weren't for Nifty Thrifty. Our hearts were warmed, ...and our prices and selection are THAT good.
