MU was founded by a native of East Hardwick, Kris Burke, who has returned to her deep country roots after 30 years of city living. Kris was an MBA-carrying independent business consultant in NYC who got work via word-of-mouth referrals because she proved able to 'rescue' stalled 6 & 7-figure system implementations. Though she didn't realize it at the time, it was due to her innately high emotional intelligence — not that she knew the software better than her predecessors.

These (and other) experiences taught her that how you approach people is what matters. Again and again, it proved game-changing at work and home. So for the past 15 years, she's been on a mission to make mastering emotional intelligence, collaboration, and inclusive leadership simple.
