First, we would like to take a moment to recognize Mehuron's Market who helps us save hundreds of dollars a year with a discount each week on all the dairy products we buy that go into the meals we supply.
We would also like to recognize and give thanks for the amazingly talented and delightful Joan Foster who sits down at the piano every Tuesday and makes everything brighter and better with her tunes and her smiles.
In the month of December, the following groups and individuals went out of their way to make these donations:
Troy Kingsbury created a cheerful and very secure suggestion box which you can admire in the Evergreen Place dining room!
Quayl Rewinski worked her magic once again and decked the halls, walls and gardens for us bringing smiles and holiday spirit to all who entered or even drove by!
Marci Lutsky and her marvelous band of cooking kids teamed up with an equally amazing group of senior volunteers and they all made tasty delights to send out in our Meals on Wheels bags. Thanks to every single one of you for bringing smiles to our neighbor's faces.
Ginny Sabin for her brilliant idea and excellent tutorial that helped us make delightful candy sleighs for our congregate meal-goers on Christmas Eve!
Judi Gross for bringing the bling to our New Year's Eve Bingo and making it a treat every month!
The lovely ladies of The Songbird Project who wooed us with their musical stories of Waitsfield's own Civil War heroes. Absolutely beautiful!
Shaw's for their donations toward our candy sleighs and also the beautiful sunflowers to decorate our tables.
The Mountain Gardener's for the beautifully packaged cookies for our Meals on Wheels recipients.
