Position Title: Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Instructor

Lyndon Institute seeks a teacher leader with experience in advanced manufacturing and engineering for a newly launched Career and Technical Education program starting in August of 2024.
This position will instruct students in modern manufacturing, including CNC machining, additive manufacturing, LEAN / 6-Sigma principles, and computer aided manufacturing and design. Some content will be taught off-site in partnership with local manufacturing facilities, including Cabot Creamery. The successful candidate will also possess the skills necessary to continue to grow industry partnerships.
In addition to relevant experience and skill, the ideal candidate for this position will have an entrepreneurial mindset, creative approach to problem solving, and strong desire to help inspire the next generation of engineers. Familiarity with Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor or a combination of these platforms is essential.
REQUIREMENTS
A BA/BS degree is preferred but not required. A valid Vermont educator license in manufacturing or engineering will be required as a condition of continued employment. Most licensing costs will be paid by Lyndon Institute.
