Alexandra has years of experience in dog care and behavioral rehabilitation. Every dog is unique, and she strives to understand each client and how best to serve his or her needs. The goal is to enrich the dog's world by providing a supportive environment to exercise, socialize, and work on skills that allow off-leash freedom with k9 friends to hike and explore the wondrous trails of Vermont!
Small-group pack walks include transport (pick up and drop off). Alexandra also does drop-in private walks and care visits when her schedule allows. In addition to dog walking, Alexandra's "mission work" is to rehabilitate and socialize dogs who have few friends and have become reactive. In this focused work, she utilizes her constant companion, Woody, to evaluate and slowly socialize dogs in short sessions. The training targets all areas where work is needed including obedience, confidence-building, boundaries, leadership, greetings, slow introductions, indoor manners, gentle play, and more!
