Join Us for Mental Health Urgent Care (MHUC) Events in October! Howard Center's new Mental Health Urgent Care (MHUC) will officially open its doors on October 28. MHUC provides a therapeutic alternative to emergency department visits for adults experiencing a self-defined mental health crisis, offering timely support in a trauma-informed, suicide-safe setting.

We invite you to participate in the following events to learn more about MHUC and its services:

Public Town Hall Webinar
· October 16 | 6 – 7:30 p.m.
· Join us virtually to learn about MHUC services. The webinar includes a presentation from Howard Center and University of Vermont Medical Center project managers, followed by a Q&A session for attendees. Public Open House & Ribbon-Cutting
· October 21 | 3 – 7 p.m.
· Before opening on October 28, we invite you to a public open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 21 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Join us for remarks and guided tours of the Mental Health Urgent Care program. RSVP if you plan to attend by October 17 at DevelopmentTeam@howardcenter.org.
