Dear Friends,
Our entire team extends its deep gratitude for neighbors like you who have supported Hannah's House for nearly 15 years now! Locally accessible, high-quality mental health services are essential and only continue because of your generosity, year after year. Together, our impact in 2024 includes several therapy groups, in-school programs, mental health first aid community training, educational workshops, weekly walk & talk, outreach events and most importantly:
Expanded Access For All
~3,500+ individual therapy sessions in MRV & Waterbury areas
~Expanded our therapeutic office space by 100% in Waterbury
~Met the demand for increased financial assistance for individual therapy sessions for our most vulnerable neighbors (over 40% from last year)
We are seeing the results of increasing expenses within the working class in real-time as our clients require more financial assistance to access individual therapy. With Vermont's currently fragile healthcare system, we are determined to continue providing robust mental health support locally. In order to do so, we need your support.
Truthfully, no donation is too small! By pooling our resources, we strengthen mental health services in the Mad River Valley and Waterbury areas. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to Hannah's House today.
With appreciation and care for our community,
Chrissy Rivers
Executive Director

Monday 9:30am "Walk & Talk" is open to all with no commitment. Meet at the parking lot on Meadow Road (behind Neck of the Woods) and walk the dirt road with a variety of folks. Walk as much or as little as you'd like. It's a great (free) way to connect with community, move your body and get fresh air!

Verilux Happy Light borrowing program.... sitting with this type of light each morning for even 10 minutes can decrease symptoms of seasonal affective disorder. Here in the northeast, the lack of daylight can attribute to low mood, fatigue and depression. Reach out to me and I can drop off a light for you to try out. We can also help to get you one, should you want one for yourself longterm.
