LOAD THE LATCHIS 2022 Help us fill every seat in Brattleboro's Latchis Theatre with a bag of groceries for our neighbors in need! From 9am to 4pm on Thursday, August 11th, REWIND 92.7 will be collecting grocery items and cash to support Foodworks—the food shelf program at Groundworks Collaborative. Every $20 Donation Equals 1 Bag of Food — DONATE HERE: https://myrewindradio.com/loadthelatchis/ Monetary support makes the greatest impact for our neighbors experiencing food insecurity, as Groundworks is able to purchase large quantities of food from the Vermont Foodbank at prices well below grocery store cost. Every dollar we raise is leveraged by Foodworks' ability to accept large donations of free, high quality food rescued from local grocery and convenience stores. We'll fill a seat for every $20 we raise—and with those funds Foodworks can provide a two-week food box for a family of 4! GROCERY DROP OFF WILL BE ON THE FLAT STREET SIDE OF THE LATCHIS THEATRE FROM 9AM TO 4PM. Please... read more ▼

Beginning Monday, June 13, 2022, Foodworks will reopen for in-person shopping during the following hours: Mondays 11am-4pm Tuesdays 10am-noon (reserved for seniors only) Wednesdays 1pm-6pm Fridays 12pm-4pm, and the last Saturday of each month from 9am-noon. Foodworks is our region's most heavily utilized food shelf program; located at 141 Canal Street in Brattleboro. In order to continue to meet the dramatically increased need for emergency food, Foodworks is distributing twice as much food as we were pre-COVID. With so many of our neighbors still out of work and experiencing the long-term impacts of COVID, we expect this increased need to carry on for the foreseeable future. If you would like to make a donation to help us continue to meet the increased need, you can do so here: https://groundworksvt.org/donate/ To reach Foodworks directly—with questions about volunteering, food access, or if you need to schedule a delivery of food—please call: 802-490-2412 or email:... read more ▼
