"Over the ground lies a mantle of white..." I know, it seems a bit early to be thinking about that first line of "Winter Wonderland," but that's exactly what I'm suggesting. That's because there is still time for interested men to join us of the Green Mountain Chorus in preparation for a series of Holiday Season Performances.

We'll be doing our best to help bring "Joy to the World" via acapella singing in four-part harmony. We'll sing of "Dashing through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh."... read more ▼

We'll be doing our best to help bring "Joy to the World" via acapella singing in four-part harmony. We'll sing of "Dashing through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh." Along the way, I'm sure we'll spot "Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer" guiding Santa's sleigh.

That's right, those of us who are "dreaming of a White Christmas," and perhaps "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire," need to devote Tuesday evenings at Winooski's St. Francis Xavier School to be ready for this year's series of Holiday Season Performances that are already booking up.

Rehearsals start at 7:00 pm, Tuesdays, in the gym of St. Francis Xavier School at 5 St. Peter St, Winooski. You can email notifications@greenmountainchorus.com or call 802-505-9595 for additional information.

High Voltage has been entertaining audiences throughout New England for decades and can always be counted on for some very funny comedy singing. Low Maintenance will give us all a fun tutorial on what a Barbershop Chord is.
