We're Mel, Damaris & Wangene at Global Village Foods (you might also remember us by Global Village Cuisine.) Here at Global Village Foods, we make meals and snacks with bold African flavor. If you've had the samosas at the Hanover, Lebanon and White River Junction co-ops, you've had our product! We're also further afield at Hunger Mountain, Brattleboro Food Co-op, Monadnock Co-op, City Market and more. In addition to our samosas, we make allergy friendly ready-made meals you can find in Whole Foods.
We're one of the main meal producers for the Upper Valley Everyone Eats program. We do all of this because we genuinely believe in good food made with clean ingredients, here in our home state of Vermont. We're on a mission to bring global flavor to our local community by bringing our meals and samosas to you.

We also had a great conversation with the lovely folks at the Brattleboro Food Co-op (this was right before we gussied up our packaging!): https://www.brattleborofoodcoop.coop/producer-of-the-month/2020/03/global-village-cuisine/
